Our 33rd Anniversary!

School children holding their projects

I am delighted to celebrate the legacy of PRASAD, which has been crafted by the dedicated efforts and compassion of many individuals, including you, over the past three decades.

We have collaboratively created sustainable and respectful solutions that have adapted with the communities we support. Even in uncertain times, we remain confident that our donors and volunteers will stay committed to helping vulnerable children and families attain self-reliance and reach their full potential.

In the words of our donors:

” We have supported PRASAD since its inception,” she shared. “A few years ago, we visited India and witnessed PRASAD’s activities firsthand. They address the root causes of poverty and poor health, providing education and training to empower people to take charge of their own well-being. This ensures that donations are utilized effectively and efficiently, creating a significant positive impact on the communities. I’ve also seen this firsthand with the dental program in NY, where the small team works diligently to deliver valuable services in a cost-effective manner.”

It’s wonderful that during this anniversary week, I’m traveling to India. I’ll be visiting our programs to witness firsthand how we’re tackling the most pressing challenges faced by the communities we serve together. While I’m there, I’ll be sharing stories and photos on Facebook and Instagram so you can see your gifts in action.

India is just one of the three countries where we’re making a difference. We also assist individuals in achieving self-reliance and dignity by providing dental health services in the United States and eye care in Mexico.

Thank you for making the past 33 years possible and for your continued support in bringing even more life-changing services today and in the future!

Dr. M Cecilia Escarra
